2018 Canvass Certification

The KIB Canvass Board completed its canvass of the 2018 Local Municipal Election today. The Oathtaking for newly elected Assembly member is on October 18 and they take office on Monday, October 22. The voter turnout this year is the lowest since 2013.

Anton Larsen Bay Road Extension Project

Public meetings will be held October 24th and 25th to discuss the proposed extension of the Anton Larsen Bay Road. Comments about the project will be received by the Federal Highway Administration until November 26. Please see the link for more info.
