The Finance Department is responsible to properly budget, account for, and report promptly, and correctly on all revenues and expenditures, collections on all receivables including property and severance taxes, issuance and refinancing of debt instruments (bond sales), cash management, grant reporting and risk management.


The Finance Department provides financial budgeting, accounting and reporting, tax billing and collection, and miscellaneous revenue collection for Kodiak Island Borough.
