A license is required for dealers who sell, purchase, possess or acquire cigarettes or tobacco products in the Borough as a manufacturer, distributor, direct-buying retailer, or vending machine operator.

​The cigarette and tobacco products excise tax is calculated as follows:

Fifteen cents (0.15 cents) on each cigarette brought into the Borough for distribution or sale in the Borough after July 1, 2021.

Seventy-five percent (75%) of the wholesale price of other tobacco products brought into the Borough for distribution or sale in the Borough after July 1, 2021.
