Employment
General Application Process
All applicants must submit, by expiration date, a formal Kodiak Island Borough Application for Employment form for any advertised vacancy. Resumes are accepted as supplemental documentation, but will not be accepted in lieu of the application. Applicants should provide a detailed summary of all past work experience and education, and will be given a numerical rating based on past experience, education, and courses relevant to the position. It is the responsibility of the applicant to list all related jobs, correct dates of employment, and other information. Incomplete applications may prevent a candidate from further consideration.
The most qualified applicants may be contacted directly to participate in the final stages of the recruitment process, which may include an exam relevant to the position.
