Building Inspection

Building Officials

On April 15, 1988, the Kodiak Island Borough and the City of Kodiak established a single program for the inspection of buildings within the jurisdictions of both governments. In the past there had been one building inspector/official for each local government. This memorandum of agreement (MOA) re-establishes the parameters of the single building inspection program that serves the

residents of both jurisdictions, and replaces

the original Building Inspection MOA of 1988.
