The Borough Clerk's Office is responsible for administering all Borough elections. The regular Borough election is held on the first Tuesday in October of each year to elect members to the Borough Mayor, Borough Assembly, School Board, and Service Area Boards.

Voter registration is administered by the State Division of Elections. In order to be a qualified voter of the Borough you must be registered to vote in a state election not less than 30 days prior to the election. A voter must also re-register if the individual has changed residence to another precinct or jurisdiction. The deadline to register or change voter information  for this year's municipal election is Sunday, September 7, 2014.

The General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014. If you will be out of town on Election Day, absentee voting is available in the Borough Clerk’s Office, Room 101 in the Borough building from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., through Monday, November 3, 2014. Please bring your voter card or picture identification with you. If you have any questions, please call 486-9310.
