Should the Borough sell bonds to finance school facilities Renewal & Replacement projects?

The cost of major maintenance projects in our school facilities is usually paid completely by Borough tax payers however if voters approve the sale of bonds to finance these projects, then the State of Alaska will reimburse 70% of the debt.

The voter's pamphlet for the regular election of October 7, 2014 is now available electronically. Printed pamphlets will be mailed to registered voters mid-September and will also be available in the Borough Clerk's Office at that time.
